We have just been awarded our charity status with charity registration number 236 and will be holding our first meeting to meet and greet members and admit new ones – and elect a committee.
It will be on Wednesday 21st November at 7pm at GADA premises, they have gladly offered us use of their premises at the Inces Hall Complex, located on the ground floor, the last room to the right at the end of the courtyard. There is limited parking and there is wheelchair access to the venue.
We welcome patients with MS or other neurological conditions to join us and make themselves known to us so we can include them in the Society and keep in touch with them and maybe offer some help.
Our main aim is to provide a support network for any diagnosed patients and especially newly diagnosed patients who want more info. helping them feel less alone with their condition and enable them to speak to others who know what they are referring to and feeling with their condition.
We will also be working closely with the local GHA to make them aware of our needs to ensure patients are catered for accordingly.
This will not be our official launch party. Any patients or carers or anyone interested in helping out in any way or wanting to join in and offer their support is more than welcome to attend our meeting.
Our official launch will take place early in the New Year, we will be giving more details on that soon.
We can be contacted on any of the below for more information:
